"We took as many of the participants' ideas as we could and compiled the suggestions into a comprehensive plan," said Karen Mullin of Willow Oak. "These concepts are widely accepted now, and they are often cheaper and support biodiversity... What we hope is all these people will go back to their neighborhoods and get others to embrace using native plants... We hope they have gained the confidence and learned to do it so they can take it back and build a ripple effect."
